One type of Mixtapes that you rarely ever see is one dedicated strictly to the female artists. Though I constantly get requests for them, the DJ's rarely put them out. That's why I was impressed when I saw DJ Famous' new mixtape composed of all of the female greats in today's RnB.
This new mixtape, titled "DJ Famous-Black Girls Rock", features tracks from the best of the best: Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Keri Hilson, Jazmine Sullivan, Brandy, Fantasia, Faith Evans, Mary J Blige, Willow Smith, Nicki Minaj, Lil' Kim, Kandi, Monica and more. Standout tracks include "Heartbroken" from Keyshia Cole, "I Can't Wait" from Brandy, and "Fly" from the combo of Rihanna and Nicki Minaj. This is definitely one to get one while you still have a chance. A definite win for the ladies...
