One of the greatest things to ever happen to Hip-Hop Mixtapes was the introduction of a young man named Marshall Mathers who happened to be the king of battle rap in a little place called Detroit. He grew to be one of the greatest rappers ever, going by the name Eminem. He also built a label along the way called Shady Records. The original start was hot and cold, and the Shady Records roster faltered with Em's drug addiction and rehab trips.
Well, Eminem is back and better than ever, clean, sober and prepared for war. His new label, the revised Shady Records, consists of Slaughterhouse (Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Crooked I, and Royce Da 5'9) and Yelawolf. This new mixtape, titled "DJ Messiah-Shady/Aftermath", features the best of the new stuff coming out of Shady Records as they prepare for worldwide domination in 2011. New cuts include "I Need A Doctor" from Em and Dre, "Sun Doobie" from Slaughterhouse, "Shit I've Seen" from Yelawolf featuring Trae, "I Go Off Freestyle" from D-12, "Back On The Scene" from Slaughterhouse, and more. Expect huge things to come from the revised and rejuvenated Shady Records..
