Nicki Minaj mixtapes have caused quite a stir the past year or so. She came out of nowhere and seemingly took over the long-vacant spot for queen of hip-hop. However, she made a real enemy along the way, by the name of Lil' Kim. Lil' Kim has been around for a long time, she messed with Biggie personally, was down with Lox and Diddy way back when, and has decades in the hip-hop game, while Nicki is a relative newcomer.
This excellent new mixtape, "The Pink Vagina Monologues", documents the war between the two ladies and gives you a taste of both of their material. Both diss tracks are included (Nicki's "Roman's Revenge" with Eminem and Lil' Kim's scathing response "Black Friday"), as well as interviews with the two female rappers. Other cuts include "I Wanna Rock", "Pussy Purr", and "By You" from Lil' Kim, and "Blazin", "I Ain't Thru" and "Monster" from Ms. Minaj. Hip-Hop must go through it's WWF phases, for some reason...
