Plies-I Fuck With The DJ Mixtape
One artist who has really started to come back to the Mixtapes hard this past year or so is Plies. For a few years, he would have the occasional song or two on a mixtape. Now, recently, he dropped official ones with DJ Scream plus a few by himself. Plies is working hard to maintain his relevancy in a game that has fickle fans, where rappers are hot one day and then forgotten about the next. These new mixtapes have shown Plies to have an ever improving rap game, and the beats are always on point. This new official mixtape, "Plies-I Fuck With The DJ", features eleven brand new cuts, like the new banger "Preacher's Daughter" with cohort Gucci Mane, the heater "In Da Building" which basically just reps Plies and his goon squad, "The Ghetto", "Down Bitch" with Lady and more. Every song is new and every song obviously took some time to make. Plies fits into a niche for people who like their raps not too over-intelligent, but more just about girls and jewelry. His association with DJ Khaled, Jeezy, Lil Wayne, etc has definitely helped his career greatly by getting him in front of many would-be fans who would never have heard of him otherwise.
Dame Grease DJ Delz Max B French Montana-Wave Gang 7
I am a huge Max B fan. I have always felt that the Hip-Hop Mixtapes that Max dropped before his incarceration were some of the absolute best mixtapes ever dropped in the game. Max B is not only a great rapper, but he sings his own hooks with an excellent singing voice. He also guested on many other rappers tracks, where he brought tracks super heat just from his appearance. He also helped Jim Jones not only create his two best albums but his classic DJ Drama Mixtape "The Seven Day Theory" had Max all over it. Unfortunately, Max was put away for Conspiracy To Commit Murder, a case which he is fighting on appeal to this very day. This new mixtape, "Wave Gang 7", features new cuts from Max, his partner French Montana (who also is a beast in this mixtape game), Dame Grease and DJ Delz. Hot joints include Max B "I Don't Wanna Know", Max B "Make Me Feel Better", Dame Grease and Bigga Threat "I'm Charlie Sheen", French Montana "Poppin' Tags", Al Pac and Mack Mustard "The Hardest", plus new cuts with Rick Ross, Maino, Slim Thug and Masspike Mails. Hopefully my dude Max will be free soon. Until then, these mixtapes keep him alive in the streets...

DJ White Owl-Street Kings 6 Nate Dogg R.I.P.
The recent passing of one of the most talented RnB singers ever was a great loss to the hip-hop world. Before there was ever an Akon, a T-Pain, a Trey Songz, etc there was Nate Dogg. He collaborated with EVERYONE in hip-hop, from Eminem to Fabolous, E-40 to Kurupt, Ludacris to Snoop Dogg, and everyone in between. Nate's voice is well known for making many many mediocre songs become top-notch with the addition of Nate's super soulful and recognizable vocals. Brand new mixtape, "DJ White Owl-Street Kings 6 Nate Dogg RIP", was dropped right away to commemorate the passing of a great artist. This mixtape shows a great cut of Nate's career and all of the artists that Nate worked with over his long career. Tracks include classic "Regulators" with Warren G, "The Next Episode" with Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg, "Ain't No Fun" with Snoop Daz and Kurupt, straight banger "Till I Collapse" with Eminem, "Times Up" with Jadakiss, "Where I'm From" with Game, and many more. Rest In Peace Nate Dogg. You will be sorely missed and your spot will never be filled.
DJ Smooth Denali-Let's Dance House Mix
DJ Smooth Denali mixtapes are a personal favorite of mine. Smooth Denali is an old-school DJ. Not meaning he does all old-school music, but he is from the old school of DJ'ing where the DJ's can use a turntable, where they are actually skilled at blends and beatmatching and such, when DJ's had a crazy grip on new school, old school, instrumentals, RnB, etc. Smooth Denali works very hard to create great mixtapes, and his brand has been well known for years now as being one that is true and strong. His product is far superior to his competitors. His new house mixtape, "DJ Smooth Denali-Let's Dance House Mix", features the best of the brand new House joints to keep your party rolling and moving with no breaks and no uncomfortable silences. New cuts like "Watch The Club Go" from DJ Bam Bam, "Hey Baby (Drop It To The Floor)" from Pitbull and T-Pain, "Falling Down" from Space Cowboy, "Sexy Bitch" from Akon, "Ride" from Michael Mind, "Trouble With Me" from Black Legend, "Knobbers" from Crookers, and tons more. While Smooth Denali usually focuses on Hip-Hop and RnB, his House skills are quite evident with this release.

DJ Spinatik-Young Dro Equestrian Dro
One artist who has worked hard to show himself worthy is Young Dro. Being the first artist that T.I. officially cosigned and the first signing to Grand Hustle Records after T.I. himself, Dro has had to grind with the best of em to stay on top. After a lackluster debut album with a few hits (like "Rubberband Banks") Young Dro started to pursue the mixtape circuit and really hone his skills. Young Dro mixtapes have improved greatly over time, and with each release it is not hard to see the work that this young spitter has put in.
This official mixtape, "DJ Spinatik-Young Dro Equestrian Dro", features the absolute newest official material from the Grand Hustle prince. New bangers like "Money Machine", "Check Out My Swag" with Travis Barker, "Polo Down", "Strip" with T.I. and Trey Songz, plus many more will prove to you that Young Dro is having no problem holding down the Grand Hustle throne in the King's absence.

DJ Prophecy-Deep Fried Blends 3
Blends mixtapes are some of my favorite mixtapes. It's always interesting to hear what a DJ can come up with when they are left to their own creative devices. Whether the beats are matched perfectly, and what crazy songs are they gonna mix up. I have heard RnB mixed with hip-hop that you would never think would ever work and it came off flawlessly. That's all in the blend game.
This new mixtape, "DJ Prophecy-Deep Fried Blends 3", is a great example of some excellent Southern blends. This whole mixtape flows hard from front to back. Cuts include Pimp C (R.I.P.) Mike Jones and Bun B's throwback classic "Pourin Up", Young Dro Gucci and T.I. "Freeze Me", Travis Porter's sneak hit "Make It Rain", Mike Jones old banger with Snoop Dogg and Bun B "My 6-4" which pays respect to Cali-type classic low riders. Plus blends from Juvenile, Webbie, Lil' Jon, Juicy J, Youngbloodz and more. This is a solid blends mixtape and this entire series has been great so far. Good work, Prophecy.

Tapemasters Inc. Evil Empire-Power Part 7
If you want a strong Hip-Hop Mixtapes series, check out the "Power" series from Tapemasters Inc and Evil Empire. This series focuses alot on fresh new East Coast material, picking only the absolute best of the best new stuff and laying them on you, track after track. I got hooked with Power Part one, just throwing it in one day to check it out, and I couldn't believe how good it really was and how many songs I had not heard. Since then, I have listened to every volume as soon as it dropped.
This new one, Power Part 7, continues in the same tradition as it's predecessors. New cuts like "What It Is" from Jadakiss, "Molasses" from Raekwon with Rick Ross and Ghostface, "Run Up On Me" from 50 Cent, "Fly Away" from Eminem (super banger), "Fly Like The Wind" from Lloyd Banks and Jim Jones, plus Fabolous, Cam'ron and Vado, Maino, Nas, Styles P, Fat Joe and many more. This entire series is strong. Check them out.

DJ Envy-"The Hitlist 49"
One of the most popular Mixtape series is easily DJ Envy's super successful "Hitlist" series. Envy brings you all of today's hottest hits, no shoutouts, no break in the music. Everyone loves these. They are perfect for parties, where you really don't wanna have to cause a break in the party by the music stopping or radio commercials. Also when you just feel like taking a nice long ride and not hearing incessant advertising, these just flow smooth front to back, with all songs that you know and love.
This new volume, "DJ Envy-The Hitlist 49", features new heat like "6 Foot 7 Foot" from Lil Wayne and Corey Gunz, "Welcome To My Hood" from DJ Khaled with Ross Plies Lil Wayne and T-Pain, "Moment For Life" from Nicki Minaj and Drake, "All The Lights" from Kanye West with Rihanna and Fergie, "Down On Me" from Jerimih and 50 Cent, "Sure Thing" from Miguel, plus Jennifer Hudson, Chris Brown, Jamie Foxx, J.Cole, Keyshia Cole, Ne-Yo, Snoop Dogg and more.

DJ White Owl-Street Kings Part 5 Jadakiss
One artist who has never been scared to put in work on the mixtapes is Jadakiss. Jadakiss mixtapes have been absolutely instrumental in building his career and showing the fans that he is easily in the top five rappers in the game. Jadakiss has a gift for not only painting a picture, but even just how he describes things, from the Pepsi-colored coupe to the Nikes to the memories of childhood, no one really does it like Jada.
This new mixtape of all brand new Jada, titled "DJ White Owl-Jadakiss Street Kings 5", features more heat from the real King Of New York.New heaters include "What It Is", "Lil Bruh", "Trade Places", "I Miss You", "They Don't Know" with Uncle Murda, the excellent "You Want Me" with Alicia Keys, "Miss Me When I'm Gone" with his partner Styles P The Ghost, pus many more. With 23 tracks in total, you absolutely cannot lose. All hail the mighty D-Block...

DMX-My Last Words 2
One artist who has been virtually nonexistent on Hip-Hop Mixtapes is my man DMX. After a crazy hot career in the late 1990's which fizzled out with his subsequent drug use and multiple arrests (including an arrest at an airport for impersonating an FBI agent). DMX has had lifelong problems with drugs and the law. He is one of the only artists who could ever come close to 2Pac in sheer emotion and rawness. His first three albums (It's Dar And Hell Is Hot, Flesh Of My Flesh Blood Of My Blood, and And Then There Was X) are all hip-hop classics and a great example of New York's resurgence after years of the South dominating the rap scene.
The first DMX mixtape in years recently dropped out of the blue. Titled "DMX-My Last Words 2", this one features DMX back on his grind, trying to fight his way back into the fickle hip-hop world and remain relevant more than five years since his last offering. New tracks include the excellent "Change Gone Come", plus "Bomb Drop", "Stay Flawless" with NORE and Ja Rule, "Boy Back Up" with Mobb Deep, "That's My Baby" with Tyrese, "Silver Shadow", "It Ain't My Fault" and more. This music is rowdy and the usual that you would expect from DMX. Hopefully an album is in the works, and DMX will be thrust back into the hip-hop game back on track. I guess we will see.

DJ Wizard-I Got Blends For Days 3
A great Blend mixtape is a much sought-after thing. People constantly are emailing and writing blogs about their search for great blends mixtapes. What makes blend mixtapes so special is that they are absolutely different than anything you can find in the stores. They actually force the DJ to take it back old-school in a way, when DJ's had actual skills and it took more than a laptop to be a solid DJ.
The new mixtape, "DJ Wizard-I Got Blends For Days 3", takes the newest hottest tracks and blends them up in crazy new ways. Joints include Dre and Snoop's "Kush", Wiz Khalifa's "Blakc And Yellow", 50 Cent "Do You Think About Me", Usher "Daddy's Home", Rihanna "What's My Name", B.O.B "Wish Right Now", Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair" and many more. These are expertly crafted, and you will find nothing better in the mixtape game right now. Wizard is on his grind, and this mixtape shows that he is clearing a way to prove himself in the game.

DJ Wizard-Beyonce Legacy Of A Diva
Blends mixtapes are hard to do in the first place. A DJ must have the necessary skills to perfectly beatmatch, and he must have an ear that can decipher where to end one song and begin another while mashing them together. Also which flows would fit both time-wise and sound-wise over different beats. But a whole Beyonce blends cd? You gotta be joking. This is something I have never seen before. More evidence of DJ Wizard's come-up in the mixtape blend game.
Titled "DJ Wizard-Beyonce Legacy Of A Diva", this one is full of blends (every single track is a blend, matter of fact). Fresh blends include "Crazy In Love", the excellent throwback "Baby Boy" with Sean Paul, "Love Song" with Alicia Keys, "03 Bonnie And Clyde" with Jay-Z, "Ring The Alarm", "Halo", old Destiny's child classic "Soldier", plus many more. With 24 tracks in total, this one is a lot to take in at one sitting. Wizard makes these blends to sound as if the original song was this way, rather than a remix that sounds like a remix. Well done.

DJ Skee-Snoop Dogg Puff Puff Pass Tuesdays Mixtape Vol.1
One artist who you rarely hear from on the mixtapes is Snoop Dogg. Snoop Dogg Mixtapes rarely ever drop. Besides the couple classics he did with DJ Drama and one with DJ Fletch and some super old Whoo Kid ones, there have not been many mixtapes in Snoop's long career. Snoop Dogg is one artist who has found a magical way to remain relevant over years and years in hip-hop, which is known for being a fickle fanbase (like many others).
This brand new mixtape, "DJ Skee-Snoop Dogg Puff Puff Pass Tuesdays Vol.1", was done by the West Coast DJ Skee, who has grown in popularity and heaviness over the past few years. Skee gained much notoriety with his famous old Game mixtapes with Nu Jerzey Devil (You Know What It Is series). Here, Skee brings Snoop Dogg to the mixtape table with all brand new tracks to celebrate the long reign of the Doggfather. New joints include "Gangbang Rookie", "I Don't Need No Bitch" with Devin The Dude and Kobe, "In The Cadillac" with Daz and the Hustle Boys, "That Good" with Wiz Khalifa (who Snoop recently said he loves working with-they just click together), "In My 64" with the Game and Pharrell, plus new ones with 50 Cent, Juicy J, T-Pain,
Trey Songz and more. Definitely one for the collection.

Trey Songz-Still Mr. Steal Yo Girl
Of all of the RnB Mixtapes, Trey Songz mixtapes are easily in the top most popular ones. Trey has a smooth way about him, and he seems to get to the ladies like no one else can. He keeps dropping hit after hit, and his albums are always stellar releases. He also works magic with rappers on collabo songs, never seeming out of place no matter who he is paired up with.
This new mixtape, "Trey Songz-Still Mr. Steal Yo Girl", features all of the best new material from Trey Songz. New cuts include "Six Foot Seven Foot" on Lil' Wayne's beat, the excellent "Dirty Dancer" with Snoop Dogg, "May I" with Fabolous (together they sound like perfection), "Look At Me Now", "It's Gon Be On" featuring Rico Love, "Shawty What Your Name Is" with ex-Terror Squad member Cuban Link, and many more. Trey Songz is a great songwriter, and you can hear in his music that this is one of those things that seperates and elevates him above his peers. He even has a new Rocawear model campaign that has been all of the hip-hop magazines, such as XXL and Vibe.

DJ Arson-The Hitlist 28
DJ Arson has made a name for himself with his Mixtapes series titled "The Hitlist". These feature the newest and best radio hits minus any of the swearing or shoutouts that most mixtapes contain. This new volume, "DJ Arson-The Hitlist 28", features all your favorite new hip-hop radio hits. New cuts include "Blazin" from Nicki Minaj and Kanye West, "Welcome To My Hood" from DJ Khaled Lil Wayne Plies Rick Ross and T-Pain, "Fire Flame" from Birdman and Lil' Wayne, "Down On Me" from Jerimih feat. 50 Cent, "6 Foot 7 Foot" from Lil' Wayne feat. DJ Arson-The Hitlist 28.5
DJ Arson brings something special to the Mixtape game. He creates his "Hitlist" cds, which feature today's hottest new radio hits but none of them have the shoutouts or the swearing that most other mixtapes have. These make them especially popular for parents who love their tunes but try to keep the foul language away from their kids. With these mixtapes, they can listen to their music no matter who is in the car and still be good to go.
This new volume, "DJ Arson-The Histlist 28.5", features all of the newest and best radio Top 40 R&B without any cursing or shoutouts-just pure, unadultered jams. DJ Rob E Rob-Sex Jams Part 9
A good sex jams mixtape is always something to have handy should the situation strike. Few DJ's have the skills at crafting a Sex Jams mixtape as fluidly as New York's own DJ Rob E Rob. His long-running "Sex Jams" series is one of the best-selling of all time, and each volume seems to be better than the last. He mixes old and new jams together to create the perfect atmosphere for some hot and heavy time away in the bedroom.
This newest volume, "DJ Rob E Rob-Sex Jams 9", follows this same recipe that has given Rob E Rob such success with the last 8 volumes. Newer cuts like "Deuces" from Chris Brown, "Hope She Cheat" from Marsha Ambrosius, and "Right Through Me" from Nicki Minaj are laid flwlessly next to old classics like Keith Sweat's "I'll Give All My Love To You", Peter Cetera "You're The Inspiration", New Edition "Can You Stand The Rain", Shai "Fall In Love Again" and many many more. With 37 cuts in total and an almost 90 minute running time, this one is , as Charlie Sheen would say, a definite "WINNER"!!!!

Wiz Khalifa-Cabin Fever
Wiz Khalifa mixtapes have built a career for an artist out of Pittsburgh PA who's chance of national popularity and recognition was slim to none. Wiz went hard on the local mixtape circuit, and as time passed his name and music started moving around the country, and before long he had the hit smash "Black And Yellow", which was originally for the Pittsburgh Steelers. It became the most remixed song of 2010, with everyone from Young Jeezy and Lil Wayne to Snoop Dogg and The Game hopping on that familiar beat.
Wiz Khalifa's new official mixtape, titled "Wiz Khalifa-Cabin Fever", features 9 full tracks of all brand new music from the 412 Kid. This mixtape is like an EP or short album. New cuts include the slammer "Phone Numbers" with Trae the Truth and Big Sean, "Cabin Fever", "Gang Bang", "Erryday" with Three-Six Mafia's Juicy J, "Taylor Gang", "Hustlin", "Middle Of You" and more. As we watch Wiz' career grow, you can bet that there are huge things in the near future for this promising young man.

DJ Holiday-French Montana Casino Life
One artist who has worked harder than most to perfect his rap game and to get known is French Montana. French Montana mixtapes have been dropping for years now, and starting from his putting out of the Cocaine City dvds and dropping a song here and there, French has built his empire one slow brick at a time. Having signed a multi-million dollar deal with Akon to Konvict Records two years ago, French is currently poised to drop his debut album. All of his popularity comes from mixtapes. From his classic "Laundry Man" series to his "Coke Wave" series with Max B, French has not only put that work in but also has grown considerably as an artist.
This new official mixtape, titled "DJ Holiday-French Montana Casino Life", features DJ Holiday (who is usually seen with Gucci Mane and Brick Squad) teaming up with the kid from New York French Montana to bring you some gangster shit of epic proportions. New tracks include "Call It Dat", "What Up Doe" with Slim Thug, "Ready", "What They Talking Bout", "Take It Off" with Waka Flocka Flame, "Sun Tzu" with NORE and Joell Ortiz, and many more. If you are not familiar with French Montana, check him out. Street raps, grimy, but great hooks and beats. You will surely become a fan quick.

DJ White Owl-Drop That Down South Part 4
One of my favorite Hip-Hop mixtapes series is DJ White Owl's "Drop That" series. They always feature the newest and hottest Down South and East Coast tracks, with even a sprinkling of West cuts as well. Every so often, White Owl will drop one specifically for the South fans, which focuses only on the newest and most exclusive Southern rap to drop RIGHT NOW.
This brand new mixtape, "DJ White Owl-Drop That Down South Part 4", features spankin' new cuts like "The Hammer" from Lil Wayne, "Movin Packs" from the Boss Ricky Ross, "Hard In The Kitchen" from Young Jeezy, "Choppa Down" from Gucci Mane and French Montana, plus tons of new cuts from Lil Wayne, Gucci, Lil Boosie, Mystikal, Slim Thug and many more. You never need to ask if these are really new. White Owl gets them so fresh you think the artists was still talking at the end of the track when the cd was ripped from the recording studio computer and put right onto the mixtape you are hearing. Yes, that fresh.

DJ Cool Breeze-Lil' Boosie Webbie Trill Life Part 2
Two of the realest artists in the game are Lil' Boosie and Webbie. Lil' Boosie mixtapes have kept him going while going through his various jail time and his current bid where he is being charged with murder. From his classic "The Streets Is Mine" mixtape with DJ Drama to his well-known "Golden Child" series with DJ Rell to my personal favorite "The 25th Hour" with DJ Folk, Boosie has put in his work when it comes to dropping new songs and he has done more than his share of mixtapes. I have honestly never heard one weak Boosie track and on every joint he brings his heart out.
This new mixtape, brought to you by DJ Cool Breeze, is titled "Lil' Boosie Webbie-Trill Life Part 2", and it features the newest heat from the long-lost brothers Boosie and Webbie. Webbie is in the unfortunate position of having to hold his brother down while Boosie is locked away in Angola prison in Louisiana, one of the worst penitentiary's in the country. New cuts include the smashing "Get Money" from Lil' Boosie, "Done It All" from Boosie with Yo Gotti, "Adios" from Boosie Webbie Foxx and Big Head, "Get Ya Money Up" from Webbie and Lil Phat, plus many more. Hopefully Boosie soon beats his charges and comes home to reclaim the streets and the rap game. He will remain in our prayers.

DJ Cool Breeze-Jeezy Yo Gotti Pure White 2
Two of the hardest hitting down south Mixtapes artists are easily Young Jeezy and Yo Gotti. These two both have very much in common. They are both gruff street rappers who spit about mostly narcotic sales, keeping it real and stunting your ass off. I have always preferred Jeezy, as I feel that he is a better rapper, but Yo Gotti has had many bangers as well.
This new mixtape from DJ Cool Breeze, titled "Jeezy Yo Gotti-Pure White Part 2", features the best of the new heat from the Memphis King and the Snowman himself. New cuts include the super banger "Sleep When I Die" from Jeezy (which is one to play when you're ready to get out there and get it), the fantastic "We Can Get It On" from Yo Gotti with Ciara, a "Fire Flame" remix with Yo Gotti spitting over the Wayne Birdman beat, plus "Off Safety", "Lay It Down", "What She Like" and many more. With 19 tracks in total, this one is a definite rider.

DJ Cool Breeze-Drake Nicki Minaj Mr. And Mrs. Smith Part 3
The two artists mostly responsible for the smash success of Lil' Wayne's Young Money Records imprint in his absence were Drake and Nicki Minaj. The two have worked ceaselessly to create huge followings and they have singlehandedly taken over the game through hard work and endless talent. Nicki Minaj mixtapes built her career from scratch, as she followed the same exact path that Drake had laid before her, as he followed Lil Wayne before him.
This new mixtape, "DJ Cool Breeze- Mr. And Mrs. Smith Part 3", features the new and best of material from the two Young Money spitters. New cuts include the radio smash "Moment For Life" from Nicki Minaj featuring Drake, Nicki's new "Girls Fall Like Dominoes", Drake and Wayne's brand new "Never Gets Boring", Drake and the undeground King Bun B's collabo "Put It Down", plus "Muny", "Super Bass", "I Get Lonely Too", "Limelight" and more.

DJ Cool Breeze-Trey Songz Chris Brown Playaz Style
Two RnB artists who have been strong on the Mixtapes circuit are Trey Songz and Chris Brown. Both of these male RnB artists have built strong followings, and they continue to drop new material very frequently that gets better and better and shows them improving as artists over time. Unfortunately Chris Brown's legal troubles gave him a negative spotlight for a long time, but he did not allow this to take him away from still making great music.
This new mixtape, titled "DJ Cool Breeze-Playaz Style", showcases these two artists and gives you a nice chunk of the new material from both of them. From Chris Brown we have "Where Do We Go From Here" featuring my man Mr. 305 Pitbull, "Beautiful People", "Wonder Woman" with Tyga, "Boombox", "Green Goblin" with Young Money's own Jae Millz, and more. From Trey Songz we have "Your Love" with Dirty Money, "Unusual" featuring Drake, "Right Above It", "Dirty Dancer" with Snoop Dogg, and more. These two artists are well paired up together, and the mixtape is smooth and comes off a success.

DJ Cool Breeze-"Grand Hustle Mafia 3"
Ever since T.I.'s recent re-arrest for marijuana possession and his following incarceration, his Grand Hustle camp has been struggling and hustling to keep their position in the game while the King is away. Luckily, the camp is strong, and each member is holding their own weight to keep the Grand Hustle name alive and well while the boss is away.
Brand new mixtape "DJ Cool Breeze-Grand Hustle Mafia 3" is a perfect example of the strength of T.I.'s squad. From the opening banger "Kick Rocks" from Spodee and Young Dro, to B.O.B.'s "Beast Mode", to the fantastic "9 Piece" from T.I. and Rick Ross, to Big Kuntry King's "Dancer", to "Datz What's Up" from Yung LA, this mixtape shows just how hard Grand Hustle is currently hustling. T.I. handpicked his whole team, and they are shining in his absence. While Young Dro has always seemed to have the biggest following, Yung LA and B.O.B. are quickly catching up, and newcomer Spodee is definitely putting in that mixtape work to get known. All in all, a very solid release. Free the King...

DJ 007-"House Blends"
DJ 007 has done it again with a new Blends Mixtape of all house blends. There are not too many House mixtapes around, and for a cd of all House blends to drop is something special indeed. For those of you who love House music, you club-hoppers and late-nighters who live for the sound of the House beats to start your night off right, this one is right up your alley. All House, all blends, all masterfully crafted by the man, DJ 007 the Waxburner himself.

DJ 007-Success Is My Revenge
DJ 007 Mixtapes are easily some of the best, well crafted mixtapes in the business. DJ 007 puts his time and great effort into crafting each mixtape masterfully, and it shows when years later you can still pull out one of his old mixtapes and ride to it all day. For instance, his classic Big Pun mixtape "Wish I Could Bring Pun Back" is hands-down the best Pun mixtape ever done, and though I have listened to it easily hundreds of times I still regularly pull it out for a long drive.
007's newest hip-hop mixtape, titled "DJ 007-Success Is My Revenge", shows just why 007 is so very successful. Blending the newest and hottest tracks with his classic style of blends, 007 simply kills it with this one! Tracks include "We Represent" from Jim Jones and Omega, "NY Knows How To Party" from Maino, Swizz Beats, Jim Jones, Joell Ortiz, and Jadakiss, super hot blend "Thug Shit" from Big Pun (R.I.P) and Jadakiss, "Freeze Me" from Young Dro Gucci Mane and Rick Ross, "Throw It Up" from Hit Mob, and many many more. The Empire Southern Slang RnB 2
RnB Mixtapes are always a good bet. Depending on the DJ, they usually consist of the hottest new tracks, laid back-to-back for your listening pleasure. While the radio is hit or miss and has an annoyinbg tendency to play the same three songs over and over all day, the mixtape will play all great songs with no repeaters (unless you hit play back).
This new RnB mixtape from The Empire, titled "Southern Slang RnB 2", features brand new cuts like "Grenade" from Bruno Mars and Lil' Wayne, "Drippin" from Keri Hilson, "Look At Me Now" from Trey Songz, "Take Me Away" from Keyshia Cole, "Sure Thing" from Miguel, "Fool For You" from Cee-Lo with Melanie Fiona, plus new joints from Chris Brown, Musiq Soulchild, Bobby Valentino, Jerimih, Ciara, Sean Garrett and more. DJ Messiah-Shady/Aftermath
One of the greatest things to ever happen to Hip-Hop Mixtapes was the introduction of a young man named Marshall Mathers who happened to be the king of battle rap in a little place called Detroit. He grew to be one of the greatest rappers ever, going by the name Eminem. He also built a label along the way called Shady Records. The original start was hot and cold, and the Shady Records roster faltered with Em's drug addiction and rehab trips.
Well, Eminem is back and better than ever, clean, sober and prepared for war. His new label, the revised Shady Records, consists of Slaughterhouse (Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Crooked I, and Royce Da 5'9) and Yelawolf. This new mixtape, titled "DJ Messiah-Shady/Aftermath", features the best of the new stuff coming out of Shady Records as they prepare for worldwide domination in 2011. New cuts include "I Need A Doctor" from Em and Dre, "Sun Doobie" from Slaughterhouse, "Shit I've Seen" from Yelawolf featuring Trae, "I Go Off Freestyle" from D-12, "Back On The Scene" from Slaughterhouse, and more. Expect huge things to come from the revised and rejuvenated Shady Records..

DJ Smooth Denali-RnB Classics 23
One type of RnB mixtape that everyone seems to love is 90's RnB mixtapes. I don't know what it is about that certain era of RnB, but anytime one drops people clamor to pick it up. My guess is that it reminds people of an easier time in their lives, a nostalgic time, when they were in high school, dating, hanging out, easy summer days, etc. There is something about music's ability to flash you back to a place in time that nothing else can do quite the same.
The new mixtape from Smooth Denali, "RnB Classics 23-Do You Remember The 90's Part 4", features a play list that you would have heard had you turned on the radio on any given day in the 90's. Classic cuts are all included, like "Look At What You've Done" by Ashanti, "I Don't Know What To Do" by Next Level, "If You Want It" (CLASSIC!) from Soul 4 Real, "Try Again" from Aaliyah, "You're The One" from SWV, plus hits from Total, Keith Sweat, Monica, Blackstreet, Adina Howard, Mariah Carey, Jodeci and many more. Tune in and tune out....

DJ Smooth Denali-Need You (Bump N Grind 16)
DJ Smooth Denali had a great idea for an RnB Mixtapes series. He figured he would put classic and new slow jams/sex jams/love songs together back-to-back to create great mixtapes for people to bump and grind to. He called this series..."Bump N Grind". The popularity of these is amazing. More and more people hear them, tell their friends, the friends buy them, and on and on. These are some really strong mixtapes.
The newest volume to the series is titled "Need You-Bump N Grind 16". It contains such great cuts as "Deep" from Blackstreet, "Be With You" from R.Kelly, "Where You At" by Jennifer Hudson, "Explode" from Ciara, "Turn Her On" from Mario, "Moaning" from Jagged Edge, "Can He Love You Like This" from After 7, plus tracks from Pretty Ricky, Bobby Valentino, Ginuwine, Day 26, The Dream, Keri Hilson, Pleasure P and more. You may think that the new next to the old won't work. It actually works all too well. The smooth transition from new to old and back again makes for a great mixtape. Check it out. You'll love it.

Another very popular and strong Mixtapes series from DJ Finesse is the "Platinum Slow Jams" series, which is now in it's 52nd volume. This series showcases the newest and absolute best slow jams of the month, placed in perfect order to make a great mixtape to help create the perfect mood for some quiet time. For a mixtape series to make it 52 volumes is pretty impressive in itself, as most only go maybe 5 or 6 volumes, if that.
This newest edition, "DJ Finesse-Platinum Slow Jams 52", features smooth new cuts like Keri Hilson and Chris Brown "One Night Stand", Trey Songz "Skippin Work", Ciara "You Can Get It", Ginuwine and Tank "You Can Get It", Jerimih "Holding On", Mario "Taste The Difference" (my favorite track-Mario is so underrated), Eric Roberson "Weekend Getaway" and many more. If you have never heard one of these mixtapes, check one out. You will surely not be let down. Pull it out on a slow Sunday afternoon with your significant other and see what happens. Guarantee it sets the perfect mood.

DJ 2Mello-Cum Shots 3
A good sex jam Mixtape is always a great thing. DJ 2Mello has made a career out of perfectly and flawlessly creating some of the best sex jams mixtapes around. His series "Cum Shots" was created as a soundtrack for people to do their lovin' to, and he creates the entire mixtape and matches up the beats and rhythms with this in mind.
The newest volume of this series, "Cum Shots 3-Pleasure The Pussy", features a mix of some of the greatest slow jams over the past years. Cuts include Khia "My Neck My Back", Eazy E "Gimme That Nutt", Lil' Kim "How Many Licks", Twista "Wetter", Ludacris "Splash Waterfalls", Mike Posner "Bow Chicka Wow Wow", Plies and Pretty Ricky "Get You Wet", Shawnna "Gettin Some Head", Lil Wayne "Pussy Monster" and more. This is a crazy line-up guaranteed to get your bedroom session hotter than usual.

DJ Kay Slay-Redemption
One of the most known and popular mixtape artists in the entire Mixtapes game has to be DJ Kay Slay. From his finding and helping Papoose to become famous, to his Diary Of A Dimepiece DVD series, to his original Diplomats Volumes 1-5 that helped make Dipset the hip-hop legends that they are today, Kay Slay has definitely put his work in.
His newest mixtape, "DJ Kay Slay-Redemption", features the best of the current East Coast spitters. New tracks include Jim Jones "Baggage Claim", Uncle Murda "M.O.B.", JR Writer "The Heart Of The Streets", Fred Da Godson with Busta Rhymes "Armageddon", Layzie Bone Twista Jaz-O and Busta Rhymes "60 Second Assassins", as well as new joints from Grafh, Papoose, Slaughterhouse, Lox, Ghostface, Saigon and many more.

Curren$y-Return To The Winner's Circle
One artist who has not had an easy time is Curren$y. He started off all gravy as part of Lil' Wayne's diamond-studded and 800 times platinum Young Money camp and ended up falling out with the boss and going his own way, which led to no record deal and fighting his way through the Mixtapes circuit to carve out a place for himself in today's fickle hip-hop world.
Curren$y's new mixtape, "Return To The Winner's Circle", features all new tracks from him, and if this is the direction he is headed in, then success is only a few steps away. New bangers include "Daze Of Thunder", my personal favorite "Rain Delay", "Trophy Case" (for the winner in us all), "Empire Monopoly", "Frost", "Record Deals", "Role Model" and more. Curren$y has a great style and he sounds great over a variety of beats.

DJ Madden Eminem Rehabilitated
Blend Mixtapes are always a fan favorite, but when it comes to Eminem AND Blends, now you really got something going. DJ Madden formulated this excellent idea for a mixtape of all blends from the great Mr. Mathers, from his early career work to his current jams. The idea for Dre and Em to be in doctors lab coats on the cover was a stroke of genius as well.
The mixtape, titled "DJ Madden-Eminem Rehabilitated" features a whopping 35 blends from Slim Shady. Cuts include "Just Lose It", "Smack That", "The Real Slim Shady", "Love The Way You Lie", "Toy Soldiers", "Lose Yourself", "Mockingbird", "Forgot About Dre" and many many more. This one is definitely one for the books. It is nice to hear "Forgot About Dre" for the first time in a long while. I remember when this one was huge on the radio and the Em verse was just killing everybody. I had to listen to it like 30 times to pick up everything he was saying.

DJ White Owl-Drop That 153
One of the best New Rap Mixtapes series, if not the absolute best, is undoubtedly DJ White Owl's stellar "Drop That" series, which is now already on it's 153rd volume, which is unheard of for longevity of a single series in the mixtape game. White Owl brings you the newest of the new, meaning not some jams that your friend already heard last week, but literally tracks that NO ONE has heard yet. That new. Fresh and crisp.
The newest volume to the series, "Drop That 153", is more of the same new heaters. Brand new cuts include "Hustlin" from Lil Wayne, "Happy New Year" from 50 Cent, "Red Lights" from Jadakiss, "Shottas" from Styles P, "The Sour Life" from Cam'ron and Vado, "Representin" from Jim Jones, "The Party About To Pop" from Jay-Z and Papoose, "I'm On It Like That" from Grafh, and many more. If you have not heard these yet, get on em. Now. You won't regret it, and you'll have that new new before anyone else, guaranteed...

Ty Boogie-Blend City 30
Of all Hip-Hop Mixtapes, blend mixtapes, and specifically Ty Boogie in particular are a fan favorite. Ty Boogie has created a strong niche for himself and built his name up to be a heavyweight in the mixtape game. His most popular series "Blend City" has been growing with every release, and his skills in the blend game are becoming borderline legendary.
His newest edition of the series, "Ty Boogie-Blend City 30", features brand new jams perfectly blended for your listening pleasure. Blends include "Moment For Life" from Nicki Minaj, "Black And Yellow" from Wiz Khalifa (as if you could have POSSIBLY not heard this one), "Down On Me" from Jerimih and 50 Cent, "Hot Tottie" from Usher and Jay-Z, the fantastic "Holding You Down" from Jazmine Sullivan, "One In A Million" from Ne-Yo, "Already Taken" from Trey Songz, and many more. Instrumental Mixtapes are always a popular thing. Whether you are an aspiring rapper who wishes to sharpen your craft by spitting over some fresh beats or just someone who is tired of hearing the same old topics and would rather just enjoy the beats uncut, many people love hip-hop instrumentals as a break from the usual thing.
J.Armz has the most popular Instrumentals series, titled "How To Be An MC". These always feature the newest songs stripped of vocals. The newest volume in this series, titled "J.Armz-How To Be An MC 69", features the newest and hottest instrumentals. Tapemasters Inc-Rick Ross The Transporter
One artist who has consistently impressed me is Rick Ross. When he first dropped "Hustlin" many saw him as a one-hit wonder. Since then, he has had a long string of hits, solid albums that just keep getting better, and tons of great Rick Ross Mixtapes. His alignment with DJ Khaled was such a solid move that it helped elevate his status to veteran, rapping alongside Trick Daddy, Fat Joe, Lil Wayne, Birdman, Akon, Ace Hood and many more.
The newest Rick Ross mixtape is titled "Rick Ross-The Transporter", brought to you by Tapemasters Inc. Featuring new bangers like "The Transporter", "Get Some" featuring Swizz Beatz, the new "Hustle Hard" remix with Ace Hood and Lil' Wayne (that I could listen to 100 times in a row), "Stop" with DJ Khaled and Game, hard hitter "Pandemonium" with Wale and Meek Mill, "9 Piece" with T.I., "Ashes To Ashes" and many more. I have honestly never heard Ross spit one weak verse, and he seems to be getting consistently better as a rapper.

Tapemasters Inc-Wiz Khalifa Stoned Rollin
Wiz Khalifa Mixtapes have caused quite a stir. Wiz Khalifa comes out of Pittsburgh, and he worked very hard for years to get his name known. Pittsburgh is not a town known for a music scene that helps artists become national, and Wiz almost slipped through the cracks. He went from doing local shows for a couple bucks per ticket to arguably the biggest hip-hop hit of the year (Black And Yellow), which has been remixed by Jeezy, Lil Wayne, Game, Snoop, D-Block, and many others.
The new Wiz mixtape is brought to you by Tapemasters Inc. Titled "Wiz Khalifa-Stoned Rollin", it features the newest and the best current cuts from the 412 Kid. New joints include "Roll Up", "On My Level" with Bay-area godfather Too Short, "Taylor Made" with Game, "Exit Row", "Stoned", "That's Good" with Snoop Dogg, "Retrosuperfuture" with Rick Ross, a new Black and Yellow remix with Snoop Dogg, Juicy J (from Three Six Mafia) and T-Pain, and many more.

Tapemasters Inc-The Lox In For The Kill Part 2
There is nothing so missed as a true Lox Mixtape. Many people don't even know who the Lox are (as they now refer to themselves as D-Block and their last album was in 1999). The Lox are comprised of veteran spitters Jadakiss aka The Champ, Styles P aka The Phantom and The Ghost, and Sheek Louch aka Silverback Guerilla aka Donnie G. They are easily in the top five best rappers living, and it's no coincidence that much of this comes from them coming up under the Notorious B.I.G.
This new Lox mixtape, titled "The Lox-In For The Kill Part 2", features the best of the new material from Jada and co. New cuts include "Put Some Money On It", "One In A Million", "Afterparty", "Runaway", "When I'm Gone", "Chase Bank", "Tape Rock", "Guns N Roses", "Shooters", "Nite Falls" and more. I have never heard any of them ONCE spit a weak verse, so you already know what you're in for. Now if we could just get that Lox album already...

Gucci Mane-Gucci The Glacier
Another artist who knows all about the mixtape game like Lil' Wayne does is Gucci Mane. Gucci Mane mixtapes have been dropping with the consistency and heat of Wayne's. Gucci built his career from mixtapes, and his albums have never come close to the popularity of his mixtapes. Brick Squad, OJ Da Juiceman, and Waka Flocka Flame all had careers which started strongly with their mixtape presence.
The new Gucci Mane mixtape, titled "Gucci The Glacier-The Winter's Mine", features the newest and hottest material from Gucci. New tracks include the banger "Super Hero", new hit "Gucci Two Times", the "Choppa Down" remix, "Hell Yea" ft. Slim Dunkin, "100 Bottles", "Cocaine", "Gucci Rag Top", "Trick Or Treat" with Waka Flocka Flame Wooh Da Kid and Slim Dunkin, the crazy "Right Now" freestyle, and more. It's Gucci!!!!!!

Lil Wayne-Birdman Jr. Mixtape
Lil Wayne Mixtapes may very well be the most released mixtapes from any rapper, EVER. Wayne has new mixtapes drop weekly, and he always has new jams coming out literally every other day, and sometimes every day. He did an interview a couple years ago where he said "Music is your job. This is my life". He goes hard in the studio, and his insane track record goes to show that the studio is just where you can find Mr. Carter 95% of the time.
This new mixtape, titled "Lil' Wayne-Birdman Jr.", features all of the newest tracks from Weezy F. Baby. Cuts include "Hustle Hard", "Roman's Revenge", "Welcome To My Hood", "Look At Me Now", "Someone To Love Me", "Six Foot Seven Foot", "Fire Flame", "Fuck You", "Hoes And Ladies", "Yeah", the remix to the heater "One Night Only" and more. The standout track to me is "Hustle Hard" as that it reminds me of older Wayne, like Dedication-2 era, when he was just melting the booth.

Jay-Z Kanye West Ye-Z
Two artists who are quite familiar with the art of the Hip-Hop Mixtape is Jay-Z and Kanye West. Both artists had rough starts, and both used the strength of their mixtape game to get their names around. Jay-Z has grown so huge that the simple fact that he even takes the time to drop free flows on mixtapes is impressive in itself, and Kanye still tried to get a mixtape out at least every couple months, if not sooner.
This new mixtape, humorously titled "Ye-Z", features a slew of hot new material from Jigga and Yeezy. New cuts include "H.A.M" (Hard As A Mother*ucker), which has been tearing up the radios and features one of my favorite verses from Jay in years), "Eyes Closed", "Syllables", "Sing A Song", the hard-as-nails "That's My Bitch", "The Joy", "Pretty Girl Rock", "Blazin", "Chain Heavy" and more. Kanye and Jigga have always worked well together, and their chemistry easily shows on record. Another strong move from the Roc camp...

Eminem-Look At Me Now
Eminem Mixtapes are a huge part of what made his career. Em has always been a vicious mixtape spitter and battler, and when he doesn't have to make songs that make girls buy his albums, he has been known to simply shred his competition and make them wanna quit rapping altogether. Eminem is easily one of the most lyrical and strongest MC's out, and he has had to fight past his whiteness, which cause many people to not want to listen to him in the first place.
His newest mixtape, "Eminem-Look At Me Now", features some of his newest, rawest material, showing Eminem firmly back on his game after the past few years of drugs and mediocre raps. New tracks include "Hello Good Morning" over the Dirty Money beat, "Difficult" about the death of Em's best friend Proof, "Cocaine" with Jazmine Sullivan, "Topless" with Nas, the fantastic "Syllables" with Dre 50 Cent Jay-Z and more which is about the current music situation where no one cares about lyrics anymore but rather only a stupid chorus with four words that they can say in the club over and over (which there is sadly much truth to). This mixtape is sick. Get on it already...

DJ Famous-Black Girls Rock (the Mixtape)
One type of Mixtapes that you rarely ever see is one dedicated strictly to the female artists. Though I constantly get requests for them, the DJ's rarely put them out. That's why I was impressed when I saw DJ Famous' new mixtape composed of all of the female greats in today's RnB.
This new mixtape, titled "DJ Famous-Black Girls Rock", features tracks from the best of the best: Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Keri Hilson, Jazmine Sullivan, Brandy, Fantasia, Faith Evans, Mary J Blige, Willow Smith, Nicki Minaj, Lil' Kim, Kandi, Monica and more. Standout tracks include "Heartbroken" from Keyshia Cole, "I Can't Wait" from Brandy, and "Fly" from the combo of Rihanna and Nicki Minaj. This is definitely one to get one while you still have a chance. A definite win for the ladies...

DJ Keyz- Definition Of A Slow Jam 11

DJ Keyz' new offering, "Definition Of A Slow Jam 11", does just that: It sets the mood that you are exactly trying to achieve. Songs like "Long Way Down" from Keyshia Cole, "Skippin Work" from Trey Songz, "Last Wish" from Ray J, "Lay It Down" from Lloyd and Patti Labelle, "Gorgeous" from Jamie Foxx, "Miss Right" from Ne-Yo, and "You Can Get It" from Ciara are all included, aolong with new tracks from Tank, Jazmine Sullivan, Keri Hilson, R.Kelly, Kandi, Usher, Mario and more.

DJ Keyz-Jadakiss Al Qaeda Jada 4
Jadakiss is one artist who knows how to use mixtapes to his advantage. In between his fallout with Puff and his break from Ruff Ryders, D-Block as a whole and Jadakiss specifically dropped classic mixtapes like "The Champ Is Here" and the "Jada's Gotta Gun" series to keep his name buzzing in the streets in between albums. Jadakiss mixtapes need to be listened to slowly, as they contain so much great lyricism and witty lines that they cannot be digested all at once like many other rappers who you hear their whole mixtape and feel unsatisfied.
The newest Jadakiss mixtape, "DJ Keyz-Jadakiss Al Qaeda Jada 4", features the newest of the new from the D-Block General. New heaters include "Tape Rock", "They Don't Know", "Straight Off The Block", "Money", "Can't Get Enough", "Bodega Stories:, "86", a new freestyle, "Maybach Music 3", "Coward With Power", "Gritty Shit" and tons more. Jadakiss is easily in the top five rappers alive, and his ability to paint pictures, whether of the vehicle he's driving and the female in the passenger seat or of the room the cocaine is being cooked in and the dough strapped under the seats is unmatched. It honestly reminds me of Biggie, the best storyteller EVER. Do yourself a favor...Kiss the game goodbye....

DJ Keyz Welcome To NYC Part 5
East Coast Mixtapes don't drop like they used to. It's just a fact. I remember 8, 9 years ago when most every mixtape was Dipset, D-Block, G-Unit, etc. Now for every one East Coast mixtape there are probably five or ten South mixtapes. However, the East Coast artists are still very much alive and well (though freezing, right about now) and still on top of their game.
This new East Coast mixtape, "DJ Keyz-Welcome To NYC Part 5", brings you the best of the newest material coming out of the Big Apple. New cuts like the fantastic "H.A.M." from Jay-Z and Kanye West (which Jay kills), "Syllables" from 50 Cent and Jay-Z, "Supermodel" from Juelz Santana, "Make It Rain" from Maino, "Hands Down" from Vado, "Goin Thru It" from Jim Jones and Jadakiss, "Sun Tzu" from NORE Joell Ortiz and French Montana, and "OMG" from Fred The Godson are all laid out perfectly alongside new cuts from Fabolous, Lloyd Banks, Reek Da Villain, Styles P, Sheek Louch, Jae Millz, Swiiz Beatz, JR Writer, Busta Rhymes and more. DJ Cool Breeze-Lil' Wayne My Own Worst Enemy 7
Lil Wayne Mixtapes have remained hot, starting with his old Dedication mixtapes/The Suffix and the Drought Is Over series all the way up till the newer ones, like My Own Worst Enemy series and Birdman Jr. Lil Wayne has been a strong spitter who has consistently gotten better with time, since his early Block Is Hit days through the Carters until today, with his Young Money camp just strangling the game, between Drake and Nicki Minaj.
The newest Lil' Wayne mixtape is "My Own Worst Enemy 7", brought to you from DJ Cool Breeze. New cuts from Weezy include "The Outcome", "How Ya Doin", the smash hit "6 foot 7 foot", "Miss me", "My Generation" with Nas, "Strobe Lights" with Dirty Money, "Money Keeps Calling" with Ludacris and Gucci Mane, "He's A Beast" with OJ Da Juiceman and Z-Ro, plus many more. DJ Cool Breeze-Brick Squad Kontract Killers 2
Gucci Mane Mixtapes are some of the most popular mixtapes in the streets right now. Gucci's Brick Squad, consisting of him, OJ Da Juiceman, Waka Flocka Flame, Frenchie, and Wooh Da Kid has grown an insanely huge buzz off of their super street bangers and club hits. The name Brick Squad has become synonomous with the hottest southern rap around right now. Specifically Waka Flocka Flame has blown up from one album and tons of mixtapes, and he is currently so huge that he and Gucci have been offered a reality tv show.
The newest Brick Squad mixtape, brought courtesy of DJ Cool Breeze, is titled "Brick Squad-Kontract Killers 2". DJ Cool Breeze-UGK The Story Of A Pimp And A Hustler
Ever since Pimp C's untimely and tragic death, UGK Mixtapes have been the one way that the fans could keep in touch with the superunit of Pimp C and Bun B known as The Underground Kings, or UGK. I personally think that Pimp C had so much more to offer, and would have brought the world so much more great music, signed new acts we would otherwise never have heard, and more. His death was a huge blow to hip-hop as a whole. UGK is the Run DMC of the South.
The newest UGK mixtape, brought to you courtesy of DJ Cool Breeze, is titled "UGK-The Story Of A Pimp And A Hustler". This one features some of Pimp C's greatest tracks from his last few years on Earth. Included is the banger "Dickies" with Young Jeezy, "Uptown" with Drake and Lil' Wayne, the classic "Family Affair", "Swerve" with Lil Boosie and Webbie, "I Know You Strapped", "Got A Thang", and more. Also included are bangers from the king known as Bun B, tracks like "The Best Is Back", "Put It Down", "I Am The Man", "Don't Go" and more. UGK 4 Life...and R.I.P Chad Butler.....

Young Jeezy-The Road To TM 103
One artist who's album is long overdue is Young Jeezy. We have been waiting over two years of promising for this new one, and after multiple release dates where it never dropped and was pushed back months over and over, it has gotten tiring. When is TM 103 actually dropping? Who knows. In the meantime, Young Jeezy Mixtapes have kept us hanging in, bringing new tracks and reminding us why Jeezy is the King of what he does-that Trap rap.
This new mixtape, "Young Jeezy-The Road To TM 103", features all of the newest cuts from the Snowman to keep you satisfied while waiting on Thug Motivation 103. New tracks include banger"The Lick" with USDA, "Off Safety", "Sleep When I Die", my jam "Mama Told Me", "1st 48", "Amen" produced by Shawty Redd, as well as a Black N Yellow remix, Jeezy style and tons of other tracks. Hopefully the album is on the way any day now...The thugs need motivating, Jeezy....

DJ 2Mello-Primeval Love 7
Old School Mixtapes are a hugely popular thing. People love to hear nice compilations of all the hits that they grew up with, and it takes them back to a faraway time when life was easier and much simpler. DJ 2Mello's fantastic "Primeval Love" series is a mix of old-school and new RnB, made to give you the perfect soundtrack to your lovemaking on a breezy Saturday afternoon.
The newest edition, "Primeval Love 7", features 35 tracks in total to help you find your groove. Cuts from Faith Evans, Avant, Tank, Jamie Foxx, Drake, Trey Songz, Ciara, R.Kelly, Bobby Valentino, Chris Brown, Keri Hilson and more are flawlessly put into a moving soundtrack to keep things at the right tempo. While this one does not feature as much of the old school RnB as some of the past ones, this one will give you just what you need.

Lil Wayne Wiz Khalifa-Ink My Whole Body
Two artists with a huge fan of tattoos: Lil' Wayne and Wiz Khalifa. Both are heavily tattooed, but Wayne is an old veteran while Wiz just blew up lately after working hard in Pittsburgh for years to get his name known. Wiz Khalifa Mixtapes have been tearing up the Internet, making his name grow larger and larger by the day. And the hundreds of remixes by every seemingly every artist out there of "Black And Yellow" (his Steelers-themed hit) have made his name stretch from coast to coast.
This new mixtape, titled "Ink My Whole Body", features the best of the new stuff from both Weezy F. Baby and the Pittsburgh Kid. New cuts include "Fire Flame Remix", "Purp And Yellow", Wayne's new smash hit "Six Foot Seven Foot", "All On Me", "Familiar", "I'm Good", "Good Life", "Real Estate", "Hoes And Ladies" and many more. DJ Noize Tyga-Loyal And Focused
Young Money Mixtapes have caused quite a stir these past few years. Lil' Wayne's camp, which used to just be a phrase he would mutter at the end of various songs, has now become one of the largest and most popular squads in popular hip-hop. From Drake, to Nicki Minaj, to Lil' Chuckee, to California's Tyga, Weezy has built himself a huge enterprise through these impressive artists.
Tyga, who was first heard with Wayne on the mixtapes last year, has been working hard to get his name known like labelmates Drake and Nicki Minaj. His new mixtape with DJ Noize, titled "Tyga-Loyal And Focused", features all of his brand new material in his path to glory. New cuts include "Woww", "Party Over Here" with Trell, "Cartoonz", "I'm So Raw", "I'm On It" (both the original and the crazy remix with DJ Khaled Trina Maino Cam'ron and Nipsey Hussle), "Cali Love", "Roger That" with the whole Young Money camp, "Loyalty" with Birdman and Lil' Wayne, and many more. With 28 tracks in total and more mixtapes to come, Tyga is focused indeed...

Big Sean has been really working hard to make his name be known through the Mixtapes. He was voted one of the Rookies of the Year last year by XXL Magazine, and he keeps popping up on various remixes alongside the likes of Bun B, Drake, T.I. and others. As his popularity builds, it seems so do his skills. He continues to get better lyrically with each passing mixtape.
This newest mixtape, titled "Big Sean-Finally Famous 3", features all of Big Sean's newest and hottest material. New cuts include "Final Hour", "Meant To Be", "Money And Sex" with Bun B, "High Rise", "Crazy", "Hometown", "Supa Dupa Lemonade", "Fuck My Opponent" with Tyga, "Made" with Drake, and many more. DJ Rukiz-Thank BIG Now
Nowadays, a good Notorious B.I.G mixtape is hard to come by. Since Biggie's untimely passing, there have been few mixtapes even worthy of his crown. Most that came out were poorly slapped together compilations with him on the cover and some sort of "best-of" tracklist, which is always missing essentials and really brings nothing new to the table.
Now comes DJ Rukiz with an excellent new Biggie blends mixtape, blending Biggie tracks with Drake songs and creating new materpieces. This mixtape, titled "Thank BIG Now", features 29 crazy blends altogether. How about Drake's "Successful" mixed with "Long Kiss Goodnight"? How about "Fireworks" mixed with "One More Chance"? Or "Find Your Love" with "I Gotta Story To Tell"? All here. Definitely pick this one up. Something great, something creative and talented that truly honors the King Of N.Y. Rest In Peace, Big....

DJ Drama Chris Brown-In My Zone Part 2
DJ Drama Mixtapes are the best in the game. Drama came with a whole new plan, mainly instead of trying to locate leaked tracks or deal with record labels to get extra promo cuts and such, Drama goes right to the artist themself and gets them into the studio, where they give him full mixtapes of exclusive material that many times is better than their albums.
The newest Drama mixtape is the second in an unlikely series with Chris Brown. While usually they are with rappers, Drama did a great R. Kelly mixtape last year and now is on his second edition with Chris Brown. Titled "Chris Brown-In My Zone Part 2", this one features all brand new cuts. New jams include "Ms. Breezy" with Gucci Mane, "Shit God Damn" feat. Big Sean, "Talk That Shit", "My Girls Like Them Girls" with J. Valentine, "Awol", "Seen Her Naked", "Last Time Together" and more.

DJ Amo-Afterparty Blends 10
There is nothing quite like a good Blends Mixtape. They are hard to do right, but when a DJ is masterful enough to pull them off they simply destroy the airwaves with tight blends. DJ Amo is a great blends DJ, and his "Afterparty Blends" series, now on it's tenth volume, as grown in popularity and strength.
This newest volume, "Afterparty Blends 10", features tons of crazy and killer blends. The mixtape is broken down into three sections: a main, a hip-hop section, and a Reggaeton section, all perfectly blended together. Fresh tracks include crazy blends of "Culo" from Pitbull, "Hustlin" from Rick Ross, "Temperature" from Sean Paul (always been my jam), as well as "What's My Name" from Drake and Rihanna, "Power" from Kanye West, "Rude Boy" from Rihanna, "Bottoms Up" from Nicki Minaj and Trey Songz, and tons more. DJ OP D-Block Don't Bite The Hand That Feeds You
One group who will never let you down is D-Block. No matter what DJ, what mixtape, whatever, D-Block Mixtapes always come consistent and spit that fire. Since they first came up under Biggie, they have grown into the top spitters in the rap game. Jadakiss is the most commercial and yet kills on every track he has ever been on, Styles P is the most lyrical, and Sheek is just hands-down the rawest. All three together? Forget about it...Lyrical murder.
DJ OP is a good friend of D-Block. They always drop official joints with him, and have done tons f classic mixtapes together. The newest is titled "D-Block-Don't Bite The Hand That Feeds You". In the usual tradition, it features new heaters from all three of them. Some new joints are "Dinner Guest" with Bully, "Rocking" from Jadakiss, "Money On It" with Joell Ortiz, "You Love Me" from Sheek, "Unexplainable" from Styles P, "When I'm Gone" from the one-two punch of Styles and Jadakiss, as well as a bunch of other new cuts.

DJ Lil Raskal-It Ain't Ova Till It's Hova
Blend mixtapes are some really talented things. Only certain DJ's can truly pull off a solid Blends mixtape. They have to know how to beatmatch the songs so that they don't sound sloppy, or so that one beat is not faster than the other. I have heard some terrible ones in my day, believe me.
Newcomer DJ Lil' Raskal brings in this fantastic mixtape of all Jay-Z Blends. Titled "It Ain't Ova Till It's Hova", this one features all kinds of classic Jigga tracks blended and mashed. Cuts include "The Ruler's Back", "Blue Magic", "Bounce With Me", "Ignorant Shit", "Dec.4th", "Roc Boys", "Money Ain't A Thing", "City Is Mine", "Heart Of The City", "Song Cry", "Girls Girls Girls", "99 Problems", "Money Cash Hoes", "Can't Know The Hustle", "Dirt Off Your Shoulder" and tons more. This is a great mixtape of solid blends. Expect to hear much more from this up-and-comer...

Cookin Soul Don Cannon-Nas The Lost Tapes 1.5
Nas Mixtapes are few and far between. He has only had a few real official ones (like the great "Nigger Tape" with Green Lantern and the "Nas Finest" series with DJ J-Love) and the rest were all hit or miss. I rarely see any new Nas mixtapes anymore. Nas is one artist who really has not used the mixtapes to his advantage too much.
I was glad to see this new collabo between Cookin' Soul and Don Cannon. Titled "Nas-The Lost Tapes 1.5", this one is all of the unreleased gems from Nasir's collection. Great cuts include "NY State Of Mind Part 3" with Rakim, a crazy "Got Urself A Gun" remix with none other than Biggie, the classic "Life's A Bitch" with AZ, the bangin' "Fast Life" with Kool G. Rap, the genius "Mastermind" and more. Nice to hear a little something special from Nastradamus now and then...

Tech N9ne-Bad Season Mixtape
One artist who never drops a Mixtape is Tech N9ne. Tech has been one of my favorite rappers for years and years now. He is like 40 years old, and his stamina and energy crush any of these young cats around. I just saw him live a couple months ago, and he killed it. The show was like 2 hours long, and he just went through jam after jam, dancing, rocking, bouncing, just full of so much energy. Recently XXL Magazine heard of him, nand checked him out, and now all of a sudden they want to help him get better known. Long overdue, but still good news.
DJ Whoo Kid and DJ Scream collaborated to bring you this special XXL-sponsored Tech N9ne mixtape, titled "Tech N9ne-Bad Season". Features new banger "Table And Chest Stress", plus "Sex To The Beat" with the usual suspects Kutt Calhoun and Krizz Kaliko, as well as "No More Music", "Bad Season", "Something To See", "Ego Trippin", "All Day All Night" and more. This is definitely one for the collection. Tech just keeps getting better.

Cookin Soul Nipsey Hussle The Marathon
Nipsey Hussle mixtapes have helped get his name around. Being the heir to Snoop Dogg is nothing easy. West Coast Mixtapes don't drop with near the regularity of East or South, so Nipsey has had to perfect his grind to get himself out there in front of the rap fans. His excellent mixtapes with Nik Bean have cemented his name as one of hip-hop's best rookies.
The new mixtape from Cookin Soul, "Nipsey Hussle-The Marathon", features all new tracks from the West Coast rookie spitter. New joints include "Love", "Keys To The City", "Mr. Untouchable" with Kokane, "Blue Laces", "A Million", "Top Down", "Young Rich And Famous", "U Don't Got A Clue", "7 Days A Week", "Late Nights And Early Mornings", "I Be Killen Um" and more. Big Mike-Magnum Lifestyle Part 2
Big Mike recently dropped this fantastic 90's RnB Mixtapes series. It is a 14-part series chronicling the best of a great period in time: RnB in the 1990's, which set the precedent for all future RnB. Artists like Jagged Edge, Jon B, Usher, 112, Ginuwine, Aaliyah and R.Kelly ruled the radio stations, and they made solid hits and albums that paved the way for the future Trey Songz, Keri Hilson, Rihanna, Drake, etc.
This volume, titled "Big Mike-Magnum Lifestyle Part 2", features a great collection of the best of 90's RnB. From Tony Toni Tone's "Just Me And You" to Silk "Freak Me", from H Town's "Knocking Da Boots" to Mint Conditions "Pretty Brown Eyes". From Guy "Let's Chill" to R. Kelly's classic "Bump N Grind", from Next's "Butta Love" to Public Announcement "Body Bumpin" this one has em all. Definitely one that will stay in your cd player, especially if it's in the bedroom...
