Last year, I got together with Max B's mom and manager and worked out a project with him from inside the jail walls to do an official mixtape. While Max has dropped many mixtapes, this one was something really special, as no one had heard anything new from him in the months since he had gone to prison and we wanted to keep his memory fresh.
On the Picture Me Rollin mixtape, Max hosted it and gave me a bunch of exclusives. I asked him to spit over an old Pac beat, 50 cent's Crimewave, and Gucci Lemonade. He also spit two acapella freestyles and did a bunch of drops. DJ 007 used his magic touch to beatmatch and blend the whole mixtape, and what came out was the hottest East Coast mixtape of the summer. If you haven't heard this yet, what are you waiting for?
