I also wanted to speak on Biggie. He was the best storyteller. Nas used to remind me a bit of him, but he could never quite paint as vivid a picture as Biggie. With Biggie, you could see the briefcase, see the hotel room (112, of course), hear the gunshots, or hear the R&B, smell the perfume, see the girl...
Biggie's Rap Phenomenon mixtape was equally impressive. Stuffed with crazy live tracks and a few lost treasures, it is another definitely worth having. All of Biggie's mixtapes are great, but this one really stands out to me.
