Cam'ron is a fantastic rapper. He is from Harlem, started the Dipset movement, and has crazy swag. He has been shot, stabbed, arrested, seen his crew backstab him and fall apart, and he still kills it musically. His best album hands-down was "Purple Haze". It was his defining moment. Tracks like "Down" with Kanye West, "Family Ties", and the excellent "Adrenaline" with Twista and Psycho Drama cemented his status, as well as the fact that every beat on the album was flawless.
Cam'ron also built the Dipset movement from the mixtapes he dropped. Cam'ron mixtapes that stand out are Enyce "Nothing But The Freestyles" and "King Of Ohio" Part 1 and 2. Cam puts his heart into the mixtapes and you can hear it when he rhymes.
