R. Kelly mixtapes have always caused a stir. Whether just for the controversy around his sex-tape trial or for the real fans who know that he is truly RnB's reigning king, every time an R. Kelly mixtape drops people scramble to get it. For instance, last year R. Kelly got with DJ Drama to do an official mixtape (something unheard of in the RnB world) for the sole reason of showing the younger singers that he was still relevant and that they were on his turf. That mixtape became an instant classic, and further cemented his position as the ruler of all things RnB.
DJ Smooth Denali has come with a new mixtape based off of a great idea. R. Kelly seems to shine most when he is on rappers' tracks as a guest, and so Smooth Denali decided to make a mixtape of all of his guest spots, titled "The Guest Spot 2-R. Kelly". This is one to just ride to, straight through. I love these old ones, like We Thuggin and All Of The Above, and this is just a great mixtape.
